Title: Phospholipid Diversity in Plant Growth and Development

Date: 15 November 2018

Time: 14:30

Place: SCI 103

Host: Yongsoo Park

Abstract

Phospholipids are essential components of biological membranes and also important signaling molecules. Our research group is interested in diverse function of phospholipids in controlling plant growth and development. In this seminar, we focus on phosphatidylcholine, the most predominant phospholipid class in most eukaryotes, and introduce our recent findings on its emerging roles in phosphate starvation and flowering time control through the protein-lipid interaction.
