Abstract         :  We construct the most generic Hamiltonian consistent with the symmetries of  an atom thick sheet of boron atoms in 8Pmmn structure in background electric and  magnetic fields. We find that not only the Dirac cone in this system is tilted, but also the tilt can be engineered by perpendicular electric field. The resulting tilt can be attributed to space-time metric felt by the electrons and holes. In this way many interesting analogies with gravitational phenomena follows.
