Abstract:

Incorporation of plasmonic nanoparticles (NPs) into active layers of solar cell especially organic solar cells (OSCs) recently has been identified as a breakthrough way to pursue enhanced device performances. Random distribution of the metallic NPs entire the active layer of solar cells, has attained much interest because of their ability of efficient localization of light in a broad spectrum and easy fabrication processes of polymer/NPs composites. In this talk, the performance enhancement of bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic solar cells in the presence of random dispersed Ag NPs into the active layer is presented.
