AFRICAN DANCE ON CAMPUS

Thursday evenings through the summer there will be African dance classes with live drummers for faculty members.  African dance is a wonderful work-out that will strengthen your heart and your muscles. Classes follow a general pattern: warm-up, free-style movements, a traditional dance, and a cool-down. Both dancers and non-dancers are welcome and encouraged to try it out. Classes are held in the main sports center in the upstairs dance studio. They begin at 6pm and go until 7:30. The cost is 30tyl for the first class, then 40tyl to drop-in. A monthly discount is offered to those who want to continue. Pre-registration is suggested, but not necessary. For more information, please contact Mary McCue at memccue@gmail.com
