Summer Exchange 2021: Applications for Virtual Summer Exchange

Author: Office of International Programs (OIP)

As the Office of International Programs, we are thrilled to invite our students to apply to our very first Virtual Summer Exchange Program!

With greater flexilbility and a student-centered approach, Virtual Summer Exchange will be a great way to make the most of your summer by participating in an exchange program at our selective Summer Exchange partners from all around the world! Enjoy the variety of our partners’ course offerings and online cultural activities while exploring academic and networking opportunities at our partners.

Applications for Summer Exchange Program will be open between 15/02/2021–05/03/2021.

Summer Exchange Partners & Virtual Participation

Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, Koç University students are only allowed to participate in the Summer Exchange program virtually. Please note that our partner universities have not made their final decision on mode of delivery (either face-to-face education or Virtual education) for Summer Exchange. We are expecting our partners to make their decision and inform us in the upcoming months.

If students are placed to a specific University and that University states that the education will only be delivered on campus, participation in Summer Exchange program at that university will have to be canceled. In that case, our office will try to place our students to another university within their preferences. However, it is not guaranteed that other partner universities among students’ preferences will offer the virtual exchange option or accept additional students in their program.

We advise you to check OIP website for more information on Summer Exchange partners’ course offerings and any administrative fees associated with their summer programs. It is also highly recommended for our students to check our partner universities’ websites for Summer Exchange regularly to follow any updates regarding the mode of delivery.
