The general application deadline is over but do not give up hope! You can still apply for the Non-Erasmus program after the deadline with Non-Erasmus Free Slots. We will be announcing Free Slots on January 7th. After the slots are announced, you can submit your application to the Exchange Office. You only need to tell us where you want to go and if you meet the requirements then that school is yours. Remember, Free Slots are given to students on a “First come first serve” basis. *This conference is open to all Junior & Senior students who are interested in real estate.

Real Estate Academy of American University in Cairo is partnering with GRI to avail quality industry reports to the real estate executives worldwide.

The first day will be from 1:30 PM till 6:30 PM, and the second day will be from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM.

During the first day there will be 2 slots for roundtable discussions, each one is around 75 min, usually there are around 4 to 5 discussions running in parallel during the same slot. The following day will comprise of 3 slots, with 4 to 5 parallel discussions during each.

Real Estate Academy of AUC needs around 3 students with very good report writing skills to take notes during the discussions (1 student in the session) and write it into a professional brief report (usually not more than 2 pages for one session). The student needed should have good English as the official spoken language will be the English language and the event involves various nationalities.

CHINA: Economy, Culture and Business

Discover CHINA with a new summer course at Koc University including 12 Days in China: Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi’an.

The first part (18 June-20 July) of the course will be at Koc University between 18 June and 20 July, 2012.

The second part (22 July-3 August) will take you to China through courses at Peking University, company visits, historical and cultural visits, and exposure to the way of life in China.

Participating Business Administration students will be enrolled in MGMT.450, ECON.450, and INT.450 as an area elective course. Other major students are able to take this course as an elective. Those who complete the course will be awarded 3 Koc University credits.

Scholarship will be available based on merit.

US: Risks and opportunities for multi-state campuses

Creating campuses in multiple US states carries both risks and opportunities for private colleges, according to a report by Moody's Investors Service.

One college, Northeastern University in Boston, has opened regional campuses across America. The move reflects a new trend that may well spread to other private not-for-profit universities as enrolment continues to decline and revenues dwindle in a weak economy, says the study, published in late November.
