Koç University invites applications and nominations for the position of the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics for an appointment to be effective as of September 1, 2013.

The Dean is expected to have international credentials in research as well as teaching and to provide leadership in promoting excellence and collaboration among the different research and teaching programs in the College as well as across the university. The Dean is also expected to further international and interdisciplinary endeavors in the light of the University’s strategic goals; to identify and address the key issues confronting the future of higher education; and to create strong links with the business and policy communities within Turkey and the region.

Since its founding, the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics has earned a distinguished international reputation. The College is composed of three departments, Business Administration, Economics, and International Relations. These departments offer undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral degrees. Koç University’s College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, along with the Graduate School of Business, is the first and the only institution in Turkey and the region that holds European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation awarded by European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Current strategic plans for the university project an approximately 25% growth over the coming five years in the size of the faculty for the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics. Accordingly, the new Dean will have the opportunity to have a significant impact on the future of the College by building a diverse faculty and student body and to help in the creation of new constituencies that contribute to a dynamic university environment.
